From March 5-7, Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities are being showcased at ITB Berlin, one of the world’s leading tourism exhibitions, organized by the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
Azerbaijan is represented by 14 industry partners, including Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, hotels, and tourism companies at the national stand.
B2B meetings are taking place with representatives from other countries' tourism industries, where cooperation opportunities are being explored. Visitors are provided with detailed information about Azerbaijan’s history, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, national cuisine, "Slow Food" and "Slow Wine" experiences, and other tourism offerings.
To enhance the experience, images of Azerbaijan's tourism potential are being demonstrated through VR (Virtual Reality) glasses.
The national stand was also visited by Nasimi Aghayev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany, Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and Julia Simpson, President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council.
